HOW IT WORKS
A clear process from request to completed handover.
From equipment returns and deployments to laptop repairs and end-of-life assets, ITmann provides a practical workflow for moving hardware through every stage of its lifecycle.
For equipment retrievals
-
Tell us who is returning the equipment by filling the equipment return form, what needs to be returned either its a laptop, monitor or an accessory, Where it is located, and where you want it delivered or stored.
-
We send a suitable return kit to the employee. It includes all the packaging materials and instructions needed to pack the equipment safely.
-
The employee follows the guide, packs the equipment, and drops it at the instructed courier location or arranges collection where available.
-
Tracking information and updates help relevant parties see the progress of the return.
-
Equipment is delivered to your destination, receive it into ITmann storage, coordinate data erasure, reinstall the operating system, or prepare it for redeployment—depending on your chosen service under Enterprise plan.
DELIVER PREPARED IT EQUIPMENT TO NEW HIRES AND DISTRIBUTED TEAMS
For
equipment deployments
-
Tell us what needs to be sent by filling the sending equipment form, who it is for, and when it needs to arrive.
-
We coordinate packaging and shipment from your location or from ITmann-managed stock.
-
The recipient receives the equipment with the relevant delivery information.
-
Shipment tracking is provided so your team can see progress without manually coordinating each movement.
For laptop repairs
-
Share the laptop model, the problem, its location, and any timing requirements so we can confirm the next step.
-
We arrange the device’s movement to an authorised repair provider. Replacement delivery can also be coordinated where requested.
-
We coordinate return delivery and share shipment updates to help your team follow the repair return journey.
For
warehousing and redeployment
-
We receive returned or supplied equipment into storage.
-
Equipment can be held for future use, processed for data erasure, prepared for reinstallation, or prepared for redeployment.
-
When a new employee, office, or project needs hardware, we coordinate the next delivery from available stock.
For end-of-life (EOL) assets
-
Share the device types, quantities, locations, and your preferred outcome—such as reuse, a buyback assessment, donations to educational institutes or an agreed downstream route.
-
Returned assets can be received and recorded. Data erasure can be arranged for eligible devices, with a Certificate of Data Destruction issued after completion.
-
Eligible equipment may be assessed for buyback or prepared for redeployment. Recycling or downstream disposal requirements are confirmed with the relevant partner before proceeding.
For IT asset buyback
-
Provide device types, quantities, specifications, available serial numbers or asset tags, locations, and estimated condition for an initial assessment.
-
We assess the information against agreed criteria, including age, condition, specification, and market demand. Any initial assessment is subject to physical inspection.
-
We arrange collection, delivery to an agreed location, or intake from storage, then inspect the devices against the agreed criteria and confirm required data-processing steps.
-
After inspection and agreed data processing, we confirm the final outcome. Eligible assets may qualify for a buyback payment, account credit, service credit, or another agreed arrangement. Equipment not eligible for buyback can be routed for redeployment, repair, component recovery, or recycling as agreed.
